Day Five:

April 11th, 2008

This is going to be a rant type post.
I have always been somewhat different than everyone else. My intelligence level is that to where I pick up basically anything with lightening like speed, even to the point of where other people get jealous of my ability to do so. I say not to brag or impress anyone but rather as a note to myself.
Even though I pick things up so fast it has come to my attention that I do absolutely nothing with it. Sure I may have a project here and there but that quickly fades out of existence just as quickly as it came into existence. I can never seem to stick to one particular thing for too long. As a result I have basically spent the last eight years of my life wanting to accomplish a lot but doing absolutely nothing.

So, I want to change my life for the better. This is a great endeavor, and I would suggest it to anyone who wants to create something great. But yet at the same time, with me it all falls on deaf ears. Now don’t get me wrong, I love most of the stuff I have learned and use some of it. But once again with me it is yet another thing that I have done almost nothing to actually follow through on.

I have enough books available to me at my disposal on everything from Psychology, Self-Help, Finances, Business, and Computer information I could ever possibly need. A mass of information that would make even the most well stocked library or book store jealous. I enjoy all the information that these books have imparted on me, but yet again it’s the same story.

It hurts me to realize the fact that eight years, EIGHT years!! I have taken no actual action to improve anything other than my knowledge. Knowledge may be power as that old saying goes, but it’s how you use that knowledge, or if you even use it as in my case, that counts for everything. Another thing that pains me is that even though I have all this knowledge, I have obtained it through myself and not through some University or School. So therefore, even if I know exactly how to do something, perhaps even faster and better than those who went to University it will not matter in the end since I have no credentials to back it up.

I really need to look within myself, long and hard and figure out exactly what it is I am doing. Where am I going? What is it that I want my life to be? What is it that I want my life to mean? How am I going to get there? What actions will I take? These are questions I need to answer. These are questions that are going to lead me to finally creating the life I have always wanted.

With that said I would like to share a few things with all of you. First a small sentence/diagram for us to think about:
Thoughts > Actions > Results > Thoughts (the cycle of creation, the cycle of everything really)
Another thing to think about is the following quotes I have read and found them interesting so I will share them here:
“What lies behind us
And what lies before us
Are tiny matters
Compared to what lies within us”

-Emerson

“The mind that opens to a new idea
Never comes back to its original size”

-Einstein

With that shared, I would like to apologize for my rant type post today. I just needed to post this for myself more than anything. I hope everyone is doing excellent out there, and remember:

“Dream A Dream, What You See Will Be”

Day Four:

April 10th, 2008

I got a great amount of sleep last night after going to bed at a reasonable time. I woke up this morning at about eight o’clock and am happy in knowing “normal” sleep is quite attainable and doable.
I wanted to share a book that I have read as well as one I am currently reading. If you’re interested in leadership I would suggest “The Secret: What Great Leaders Know and Do” by Ken Blanchard and Mark Miller. It is a very easy yet educational read about more than just standard “leading” and takes a more profound approach in that leader’s serve not so much lead. Plus at about 120 pages with huge print it won’t take that long to get through either.

Another great book I have read before but am currently reading again is “Why We Want You To Be Rich” by Donald J. Trump and Robert T. Kiyosaki. It is an amazing book written by two great men. I definitely recommend reading it to anyone who wants a start on their financial education. I have heard and believe that if you want anything in life you have to make it a study. If you want wealth study wealth, if you want health study health. You cant just leave it to chance. (Tony Robbins) This book so far is basically about the shrinking middle class and how the Government is one of the biggest debtors in the world’s history. How the Government will not be able to pay the future generation of retiree’s their Social Security and Medicare benefits that they are counting on. That the 401k plans will not really help anyone as they were designed originally for high-income individuals like those who make over $150,000 a year, and what you can do about it. About your own financial well being.

Also if you want other books to read I recommend basically anything these men have written. Robert Kiyosaki, Donald Trump, and Ken Blanchard.

Today’s intentions are as follows:
Continue Spanish Lessons
Continue Eye-Q Training
Continue Personal Power program
Work Out
Finish the “Videos” and “About” pages on this website
Reconnect with the 100-Day Reality Challenge community.

Have a great day and remember “Dream a Dream, What You See Will Be”

Day Three:

April 9th, 2008

So far Day Three has been nothing but a blur of random events due to my lack of sleep last night from oversleeping the day before.
However, I have grasped something today to take into consideration. “What do I ultimately want my life to mean?” “What is my intention for my life?” I have never actually considered these before. I mean sure we all have goals, dreams and aspirations but at the end of the day what do you actually want it all to mean? What was your intention for it all? I still don’t quite have the answer to this for myself yet. But it is a great question to consider.

Today my intentions are as follows:
To continue the Personal Power program.
To write in my new journal. (Actual paper woo!) lol
To go to sleep at a decent hour tonight.
To organize my living space.
To continue my Spanish lessons.
To continue the Eye-Q program.

It has also come to my attention that this Sunday, when I am suppose to be shooting my weekly video blog, I will be in San Antonio. So either I will shoot from San Antonio or I will do it before or after Sunday. But know, my dear readers, know for a fact that I will keep my Sunday blog schedule.

Until next time - “Dream a dream, what you see will be.”

Day Two:

April 8th, 2008

Today is the day I quit smoking.
My intentions for today are as follows:
Start my Spanish Lessons
Start the EyeQ Program
Continue the Personal Power program.
Work Out.

I slept in quite late today, even though I went to bed early last-night. It seems even though I sleep normal hours, my body still tends to oversleep. I need to learn to wake up more readily when the alarm goes off.
This week I am suppose to hear about whether I got a job at Sharper Image or not. So far no calls but it is still the beginning of the week. Also this weekend we are going to San Antonio. Which is going to be a nice little get away.

Until next time~

Day One

April 7th, 2008

Hello everyone I am Enzeru.
I decided to re-start my 100 Day Reality Challenge all over again since it has been about 30 days since my last update. Plus last time I don’t believe I gave it the attention it deserves. So therefore, I will be starting over today. Today is the first day of my new life. The 100 days will be from April 7th, 2008 until July 15th, 2008.

With that said I would like to state my what my intentions were today.
My first intention for today was to work out. I did so this morning with my girl-friend. We are currently working out to Billy Blank’s TaeBo Amped.
My second intention for today was to finish a book that I have been putting off for months. I finished it this morning and was quite an interesting read, and was the first book I actually finished in quite some time. The book was Stephen King’s “Insomnia”.
My third intention for today is to start Tony Robbin’s Personal Power program which I will listen to and do the daily assignments later on this evening.

Also as a side note we are starting to turn our unusual sleep schedules around and are starting to sleep at night now. This is a great choice and I hope that we stick to it. I feel I have accomplished a lot today. Rather than lounging watching television or playing some random video game. Something that is a small start to a great one hundred days.

Speaking of career’s I am planning on going to college this fall for Computer Engineering. I can’t wait until I get to attend University of Houston. It is amazing. Everything I hear, everything I see has been nothing but good news.

Anyways I hope all is going well out there for all of you and remember “Dream A Dream, What You See Will Be”

-Enzeru
